Envy thy name is 133 - HP Voodoo Envy 133
HP seems to be intent on covering all its bets in the ultraportable race. First, there was the mini-note. Now: Second, they have the Envy. [Source]. Its full name is the HP Voodoo Envy133. Some people will love it, Lia seems to like it. By the way it is supposed to make the MacBookAir and Lenovo users green-eyed.
But is it worth it? Let us take a look - The Voodoo Envy 133:
- It is over half an inch thin
- Weighs less than 3.4 pounds.
- It based on Intel Centrino technology
- It has 13.3-inch diagonal LED WXGA screen capable of 1,280×800
- An option of 80 GB 4200 RPM hard drive or a 64 GB solid-state disk
- It comes with an integrated X3100 graphics chip.
- It has carbon fibre casing and fused composite glass covering the display for strength and durability
- includes: (i) Ethernet and (ii) wireless connectivity I/O ports
- It also (like the MacBook Air) offers an external optical unit.
- Uses a version of Linux, called VIOS, which can be used to quickly use Firefox or Skype.
- Retail price: around $2000
(Note: Voodoo Envy 133 uses the same processors as MacBook Air and Lenovo ThinkPad: the Intel SP7700 and SP7500.)
I am not really that enthusiastic about it. The price is a turn-off. How about you?

But it doesn’t run Mac OS X. The MacBook Air can run XP, Vista, Mac OS X, and various Linux flavours on the same HD.
