MacBook Air, Intel and Apple
There is this article written at Fortune’s Big Tech Blogs by Jon Fortt entitled Apple and Intel: Best buddies. An interesting read because of two related things:
1. It chronicles the partnership between Intel and Apple. Two seemingly different Tech companies. And How the partnership work.
2. And one product of this partnership is the MacBook Air. The MBA uses a very tiny chip that was developed by Intel.
In the article you will read how during their initial meeting the people of Apple and Intel seem to clash in terms of style. One fast and one more circumspect in its progress. And so far the two approaches seemed to have melded to form a new approach to the developing technology products.
Research and development partnerships are nothing new in the technology industry or for any industry for that matter. But it sure is interesting to watch. And in particulat this one because it was important in the development of the MacBook Air.
